CUSTOMISED STRUCTURAL STEEL
URC STEEL provide and install structural steel. Some of these are sold as supplementary components for projects that are primarily made of LGS, but we also sell them to customers who only require structural steel for large industrial projects.

LIGHT GAUGE STEEL (LGS)
Light gauge steel (LGS) frames have gained popularity in recent times due to the limited availability of timber and their numerous benefits over timber as a building material.
Our company offers framing solutions for a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, retail, apartments, schools, and aged care. Our designers are able to adapt your designs to incorporate LGS, even if they were originally intended for timber.
At URC Steel, we only use premium steel from renowned companies like BlueScope and a few others from around the world. All of the steel we use meets Australian standards and specifications, including G550/AZ150. Builders can select the type of steel that will be used for their frames based on their needs and budget.
Once our clients have approved the 3D sample we offer, the wall frames, floor joists, and roof trusses are prefabricated at our plant in South Australia. After they are delivered to the construction site, the LGS frames will be installed by a builder or one of the installers approved by URC Steel.

ROOF BATTENS (40MM) CEILING BATTENS (22MM)
URC Steel's Roof and Ceiling Battens are light yet strong, offering an economical alternative to timber. Manufactured from high tensile zinc/ Truecore steel, Roof and Ceiling Battens remain straight and consistent throughout their life. This style of batten can be ordered to suit your exact requirements. Whether you want to install it yourself or require assistance, we are here to help.
LASER CUTTING
We primarily work with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, zinc coated steel, quenched and tempered plates to produce intricate one-off designs through to full scale production projects.
- Custom laser or CNC cutting of acrylic sheets (up to 20 mm), stainless steel (up to 6 mm), aluminium (up to 12 mm), and steel (up to 12mm)
- Cladding and aluminium composite boards and panels
